Southwold 60 Lakenham & Hewitt 0 (6-10-2007)
Southwold posted their second successive half-century against limited opposition at home on the Common. The game began in a scrappy manner, Southwold failing to impose themselves and play in their accustomed way.

As the game wore on Lakenham failed to gain territorial advantage and a strong home defence forced them into errors. Again the mobility of the forwards began to tell and Lakenham found themselves on the back front time after time.

Southwold again scored a hatful of tries through powerful running and good support, however, there is still much to work on as we will face better teams and greater challenges as the season progresses.

Scorers - S Smith 3, L F-Parr 2, P Holmes, D keeble, P Currie, C Withey all one apiece. D Hume added fifteen points with the boot.

On Saturday the 1st XV travel to West Norfolk RFC for a third round EDF Vase match.
